Huge congratulations to Ulla Kotka for winning the last CAC which Sanderfield Play Like A Pro aka Reino needed to become champion. Reino placed second in BM class and received res-CACIB too. Reino´s new title is now FIN CH JW-08.

The fine results continued next day at dog show in Heinola. Anne Heikkinen had such a succesful day with her males: the youngster Sanderfield Shake Before Use aka Peik won the Junior Class and became finally Best Male 2nd . He also reseived CAC. Unfortunately Peik is not old enough to get his CH-title.

And now to the ladies´s competition. Our Swedish "beauty queen"CH  Hjohoo´s Ho Give Love To My Life aka Lina, was second in Champion Class and placed 3rd in BB competition. Sofia was her handler in the mentioned BB ring. The senior ladies CH Sanderfield Snow Brilliant aka Brita and CH SanderfieldWhirling Pound aka Berit showed that age is only in your mind.

Brita was BB-2 and also BOB Veteran. Berit was second in Veteran Class.

We showed the BOB Breeder Class.

Many thanks to you who helped us to achieve this success. And special thanks to Nan Salminen (kennel Nanstop) for loaning out your wonderful little Norfolk Flippan  (CH Nanstop Butterfly Flip) to Sofia in Junior Handler competition. It is so important for her to handle also other breeds than Cairns.

 Very successful fulfilling weekend in two shows at Kouvola and Heinola.

This show was really puzzle to us, because we did not have any idea, how the judge shall value our dogs. But we were not disappointed! Sanderfield Play Like A Pro aka Reino, owned by Ulla-Riitta Kotka, won the Open Class and placed 4th in BM competition and got res CC. Sanderfield Give Me A Break aka Vappu, owned by breeders and Marja Mäkelä, won the Intermediate Class and placed 2nd in BB competition. She also received her first CAC.

Our Swedish Beauty Queen Hjohoo's Hjo Give Love To My Life aka Lina. was the 1st in Champion Class and won the bitches. Finally she was also BOB. And if it went fine in Ch Class, it went really good in Veteran  Class, too.CH Sanderfield Snow Brilliant aka Brita showed that 13 years and 8 months do not bother her joy of life. She was BOB Veteran and became 3rd in BB competion. Way to go, Brita! CH Sanderfield Whirling Pound aka Berit was second in Veteran Class, but she was also in BB "match" and placed 4nd. We also showed BOB Breeder Class.

Thanks again for all the extra hands and feet! Because it so difficult for me to assist Tessa present moment in the ring, I thank all of you wonderful people for all the help we have got!

This day was the day when Miisa, officially Sanderfield Sweet Dreams, stroke gold! Miisa was BIS Puppy! This was her second Specialty BIS-winning in Puppy Class. Way to go!

Sanderfield Give Me High Five aka Masi, owner Jonna Kouhi, was 2nd in Intermediate Class, also with critics Excellent.

Anne Heikkinen's older boy MULTI CH Sanderfield Pure Talent placed greatly 2nd in Open Class likewise with Excellent.

Brita did not participate in Veteran Class, but her daughter CH Sanderfield Dance With Roses, owned by Berit Rosenfeldt, was 2nd with Excellent.

This show day was so spectacular and terrific that it is something to remember in the future. First our guest from Germany got the CAC he needed for his Finnish championship. He also received CACIB as souvenir from Finland : ) This was the last chance for Jimmy to get the CAC and he succeeded. After two days he was on his way home!

 And then the "juicy" news: Lina won the bitches and became Best Of Breed. In the Group ring she suprised us by beeing the first in Terrier Group. And in the finals she placed BIS 1 ! As we recall this was the first time a Cairn Terrier won BIS in an International show in Finland. Our CH Sanderfield Money Talks won BIS in National show several years ago and there have been some BIS winnings in Group shows, but it doesn´t happen very often. So we are very proud of our girl!

Helsinki International Show 23.5.2010  Judge Andreas Schemel, Austria

The Aptus Show in Helsinki seems to one of the last shows taking the place indoors. But fortunately it was so, because it was raining a lot in Saturday afternoon, and not only water but also hailstones! But Sunday was a good day, and good for us what comes to the results: CH Hjohoo's Hjo Give Love To My Life aka Lina was BB1 and BOB with CACIB. Sanderfield Georgia On My Mind aka Nuppu,  owner Marja Mäkelä, still waits for her last CC to get the CH title. It was close; Nuppu was BB4 vit res-CC.  Anne Heikkinen´s youngster Sanderfield Shake Before Usea ka Peik was BM4.

Tessa had also one Norfolk with her: Sanderfield Patterson aka Onni, owner Taina Tiainen, had been entered the very first time to a dog show. Onni went quite well in the ring and got Very Good as quality critics. Hopefully we shall see Onni in other shows, too.

It was nice to have the show area quite near home and nobody had to wake up so early in the morning, because  the ring did not started until noon. We got a real jackpot when our Danish import Lachleen Run For The Roses won the Open Class and placed first in Best Bitch competition with CC, which was the last one she needed for Finnish Show Champion title. Congratulations to Sofia for Sanni´s success. Sofia half-owns Sanni and also competes with her in Junior Handler.

It was cold and dark when Tessa started dreiving early in the Sunday morning. Tessa had CH Hjohoo´s Hjo Give Love To My Life aka Lina with her, and Anne Heikkinen had taken her youngster Sanderfield Shake Before Use aka Peik  to the show. Peik is hardly 9 months old, but he won the males and got his first CC. Unfortunately he was too young to receive CACIB.

It was cold and snowing during the show in Tampere . But we did not care, because we had  atmosphere in the ring and the results were more than nice. In open males ´ring Jonna Kouhi ´s boy Nemo did well by winning his last CC and so he got the champion title. He also was second best male. Congratulations, Jonna, again!

Maisa, half-owned by Sonja Silfver, won the Open bitches and she was fourth in BB-ring sijoitus oli PN4 myöskin avoimen luokan voitolla.  And as sugar at the bottom: Lina was Best On Breed!

Sofia took part in Junior Handler competition. This was her second official ring and she placed 4^th in 10-13 year group. She handled her half-owned cairn Sanni, officially known as Lachleen Run For The Roses.

Driving to Keuruu was really worth all the trouble. First was Sanderfield Shake Before Use aka Peik, owner anne Heikkinen, BOB Puppy. Congratulations Anne! Well done! Sanderfield Play Like A Pro aka Reino, owner Ulla-Riitta Kotka, got excellent and placed 3rd in Open Class males.

Peik´s father CH Sanderfield Pure Talent, known also as Patrik was the second in the Champion Class and  the 2nd Best Male. Anne is Patrik´s ”mommy” as well.  And what comes to the girls, everything went better than well. Our Danish lady Lachleen Run For The Roses aka Sanni (owner Sofia and Tessa) , was first in the Open Class, placed as 2nd in BB competition  and received her second CAC. Congratulations Sofia!

And the sugar at the bottom: CH Hjohoo's Hjo Give Love To My Life aka Lina (owners Tessa and Marjut), w:n the Champion Class and was BB1 and BOS. Many thanks for all the participants! It was nice to see you again!

Matka Keuruulle oli vaivansa väärti. Ensin Anne Heikkisen omistama nuori hurmuri Peik eli virallisesti Sanderfield Shake Before Use voitti ensin urospennut ja oli lopulta ROP-pentu. Onnea Anne! Avoimessa luokassa Sanderfield Play Like A Pro  eli Reino,omistaja Ulla-Riitta Kotka oli laatuarvostelulla erinomainen kolmas luokassaan.

Peikin isäpappa Patrik eli CH Sanderfield Pure Talent , sekin Annen omistuksessa, oli hienosti valiourosten toinen  ja  lopuksi PU2.

Tyttöjen puolella meni myös nappiin. Ensin tanskalaistyttömme Sanni (omistajat Sofia ja Tessa Silfver) eli Lachleen Run For The Roses voitti avoimen luokan ja oli PN2 saaden toisen sertinsä.

Ja sokerina pohjalla oli Lina eli CH Hjohoo's Hjo Give Love To My Life, voitti valioluokan ja oli PN1 ja lopuksi VSP.

  We had enetered only two bitches: Lachleen Run For The Roses aka Sanni  and CH Hjohoo's Hjo Give Love To My Life aka Lina. Sanni got very good2 in Open Class, and Lina went up to the top in Best Bitch competition and was BOS with CACIB.

Junior Handler, judge Mille Bæk, Denmark

It was absolutely fantastic to see your own grandchild playing a part in her first Junior Handler competition. Sofia is only 9 years old, but according the rules she is entitled to take part of the competition in the year she has her 10^th birthday.

I was a little bit worried about the figures that might have been required by the judge, but everything went really well. Sofia sailed through T-letter figure successfully – and guess who was a very proud grandma in the bleacher! The judge picked 7 from 13 and Sofia was one of them. It was well done! Sofia did not reach to final five top, but she was not disappointed, on the contrary. We warmly thank Nan Salminen (kennel Nanstop) for loaning wonderful CH Nanstop Butterfly Flip to Sofia . They really showed what cooperation is!  

Helsinki Puppy Show 10.1.2010 judge Tiina Taulos

The old cable factory building is very popular for puppy shows, and today was not an exception. In spite of the cold winter period there were 23 entries, and only a few did not appear.Sanderfield Shake Before Use aka "Peik", owner Anne Heikkinen, had extremely good results at his second show: Peik was BOB and BIG 2 Puppy! Congratulations Anne! Peik is a son of Multi CH Sanderfield Pure Talent and CH Hjohoo´s Hjo Give Love To My Life.

We also showed BOB Breeders Group, which placed first in the Big Ring in the finals. It was wonderful to receive BIS Breeder prize, when you have four cairns from three different combinations.
