20.-21.12.2008 Lithuania

Anne Heikkinen with Patrik and Eija Lehtiö with Miina travelled on Thursday 18th Dec to Vilnius for ”hunting” the last CACIBs needed to their Intl CH titels. The journey was very succesful and both became LTU CH and got the CACIBs. So now they are both also International Champions (to be verificated at FCI).

We had a very pleasing and satisfying day at the show. Sanderfield Play Like A Pro, aka Reino, who is owned by Ulla-Riitta Kotka, won the Junior Class and got the titel Junior Winner 2008. Reino was BOB puppy in out Specialty Show, so the received titel is a fine follow-up for him, Congratulations Ulla-Riitta and thanks to Anne Heikkinen for handling him!

CH Sanderfield Pure Talent aka Patrik, owner Anne Heikkinen, won the Champion Class and became 2nd in BM competition.

Sanderfield Magic Pearl aka Maisa got Excellent and became 3rd in Junior Class.

In Veteran Class our Grand Old Dame CH Sanderfield Snow Brilliant aka Brita was 2nd with quality Excellent. Brita will be 12 years next January! And almost 10-years old CH Sanderfield Whirling Pound aka Berit was so full of drive and joy that she beat all the younger ones and became BB1st and BOS with titel Winner 2008. We also showed the BOB Breeder Class. We warmly thank everyone who helped with handling the dogs and also thank you for your kind wishes. And our best regards to Hannele Palojärvi, who could not participate with CH Sanderfield Peace Of Mind, because Helmi had an injury in her paw.

22.11.2008 International Dog Show in Hamar, Norway, Judge Harri Lehkonen, Finland

This journey was worth every trouble and home arrangements it caused! Tessa, her husband Toni and Anne Heikkinen with her cairn Patrik travelled on Thursday from Turku to Stockholm by ferry. Then they continued by vehicle to Hamar, Norway. Terrier day was on Saturday, and because of an early start of norfolks´ ring, they had to be there in time. We were very happy when Olivia (CH Nanstop Bubblan) placed 2nd Best Bitch and got CAC. So she got new titles: N CH and NORDIC CH.

Fin&Est&Pl Mva Jv-05 Pmjv-05 Eujv-06 Sanderfield Pure Talent  aka Patrik made us all so proud when he beat all the other males and was BOS with CAC and CACIB! He got also new fine titles: N CH and NW-08. Cheer for Anne and Patrik!!!

Sanderfield Magic Pearl aka Maisa won Junior Class with Honour Price.

And Fin Ch JW-06 Sanderfield Peace Of Mind aka Helmi was the sunshine of the day. She was BOB with CAC and CACIB. She became NW-08 and N CH and also NORDIC CH. She is now INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION  (without confirmation)!

In the end of the day she placed BIG3rd! Congratulations Hannele! Way to go!

The giant-killing of the day was when our young Swedish import bitch Hjohoo`s Hjo Give Love To My Life aka “Lina”,  won Junior Class and was 2^nd Best Bitch with CC, was BOB Junior and competed with dozens of junior dogs of different kind of breeds and beat them all! Now she has the possibility to take part of the final competition next year!

We succeeded to get very nice results at one of the most popular Terrier Speciality Shows in Helsinki in the end of August. CH Sanderfield Peace Of Mind aka Helmi (owner Hannele Palojärvi) was BOS. Helmi´s daughter Sanderfield Magic Pearl aka Maisa was BOS Puppy. CH Sanderfield Take A Break  aka Topi (owners Jaana Heiskanen ja Sirpa Pirttijärvi) hadn´t been shown for a long time, so we were very proud for his placements: BOS Veteran and Best Male 2nd! CH Sanderfield Snow Brilliant aka Brita was BOB Veteran and Best Bitch 3rd. And she is almost 12 years old! Our Breeder Class was chosen Best on Breed.

Our Norfolk Nanstop Bubblan surprised us totally by being BOB on the show. She also got the last CACIB to be needed for INT CH. Norfolks were judged by Ms. Assenmacher-Feyel from Germany.

What comes to Cairns we also had fine placements:

S. Pure Talent was Best Male 3^rd, and S. All That Jazz won the Open Class and was BM 4th with his first CC! Lachleen Run For The Roses was Best Bitch 2^nd with res-CC and S. Peace of Mind 3^rd. BOB-Veteran and BB 4th was S. Snow Brilliant. The Judge was Tapio Ranta.

Sanderfield Licence To Kill, owned by breeders and Daniela From, was 4th in the same class. Ch Sanderfield Pure Talent, owner Anne Heikkinen, was 2nd in Champion Class with Ecxellent critics. In the Best Male competition he placed 3rd. Sanderfield Georgia On My Mind, owned by breeders and Marja Mäkelä, got as well Ecxellent and was 2nd in Open Class and Best Bitch 4th. We showed BOB Breeder Class and the placement was BIS-2 in the final competition!
